About the Artist

Meagan Jordan was born and raised in the heart of Lexington, KY and is currently pursuing her bachelor of fine arts in photography at Savannah College of Art and Design in the historic town of Savannah, GA. Photography transformed from an idea to a consuming passion for Meagan at around 6 years ago. Viewing life with an optimistic point of view keeps her interest in people and enjoys hearing their own personal stories. Her focus lies in the art of documentary and photojournalism, but continues to do set photography and fine art. After graduation in the Spring quarter of 2008, she plans on working for a newspaper or magazine publication.
